Growing Into Who You're Becoming.
Being a Teen Isn't Always Easy
Being a teenager (13+) comes with a lot of change, and sometimes it can feel like everyone expects you to have everything figured out. You may be navigating changing friendships, school pressures, family conflict, your parents' divorce, or experiences that have left you feeling hurt, confused, or overwhelmed. When so much is happening around you, it can be difficult to understand your emotions, communicate what you need, or know where to turn for support.
At Evermore Therapy & Wellness, you have a space where your experiences matter and you can talk openly without fear of judgment. Therapy can help you make sense of what you're going through, build confidence in yourself, and develop tools to navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and changes in your life. You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

What Does Teen Therapy Look Like?
Therapy doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Every teen has different needs, interests, and ways of expressing themselves, so sessions are tailored to what feels helpful and comfortable for you. Sometimes we'll talk things through, and other times we'll use creative activities, games, or practical tools to explore emotions, work through challenges, and build new skills.
-
Art can offer a way to express feelings and experiences that may be difficult to put into words. We might use paints, colored pencils, markers, or other creative materials to explore emotions, reflect on experiences, build self-awareness, and express yourself in a way that feels natural to you. You don't have to be artistic to participate.
-
Games like UNO, Jenga, Scrabble, and puzzles can make therapy feel more relaxed and engaging. Activities can help us practice communication, explore problem-solving, build frustration tolerance, and talk about challenges in a less pressured way. We can use what comes up during an activity as a starting point for meaningful conversations.
-
Sometimes, the most helpful thing is having space to talk about what's happening in your life. Whether you're navigating friendship struggles, family changes, relationship concerns, or difficult experiences, we'll work together to make sense of your feelings and explore what you need.
-
We'll explore how emotions show up, what may be contributing to them, and how to respond when feelings become overwhelming. Together, we can identify emotional patterns, recognize triggers, and find healthier ways to manage stress, anxiety, frustration, and sadness.
-
We'll practice practical tools to help you navigate difficult moments, including deep breathing, grounding exercises, guided imagery, and mindfulness. These skills can help you feel more present, manage stress, and respond to challenging situations with greater confidence.
-
Therapy can help you strengthen self-esteem, practice setting boundaries, communicate your needs, and navigate friendships and family relationships. We'll work on recognizing your strengths, trusting yourself, and developing skills that support your emotional well-being.
A LITTLE REMINDER FOR YOU:
You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out.
Growing up comes with a lot of changes, questions, and emotions. You deserve a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and figure things out one step at a time.
